Xiangling Xu 许湘灵

What can quantum physics do, and where are its limits? My research connects physics, mathematics, and theoretical computer science through questions about correlations in quantum networks, certifiable properties of quantum many-body systems, and cryptographic tests of quantum devices. I have used the theory of operator algebras and noncommutative polynomial optimization to address these questions.

Since October 2023, I have been a PhD student with PhIQuS at Inria Saclay, supervised by Marc-Olivier Renou.

量子物理能做什么，又不能做什么？围绕这个问题，我把物理、数学和理论计算机科学结合起来，研究量子网络能产生哪些关联、多体系统中哪些物理性质可以严格认证，以及如何借助密码学检验量子设备。在这些研究中，我用到了算子代数与非交换多项式优化等数学工具。

我从 2023 年 10 月开始在 Inria 萨克雷中心的 PhIQuS 小组读博，导师是 Marc-Olivier Renou。
